Summary

Responsible for providing basic administrative support to assigned department and carrying out various administrative responsibilities based on departmental needs.

Pay Range: (depends on qualifications)

Work Schedule: On-site Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and business support as well as data entry.

  • Respond to inquiries from citizens and City personnel via phone, email, or in person, and direct them to appropriate personnel.

  • Prepare and maintain office records, reports, and correspondence.

  • Collect and organize data for projects.

  • Record, transcribe, and distribute various documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D

  • Two years of related experience.

  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Valid Class C Texas driver's license.
