We’re seeking a friendly and accurate Credit Union Member Service Advisor / Teller to provide exceptional service to our members. You’ll handle cash transactions, answer questions, and help build trust in every interaction. If you’re dependable, personable, and passionate about community-focused banking, we’d love to have you on our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and communicate with credit union members in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
  • Perform daily member services such as assisting on the concierge desk and teller line, opening and closing accounts, and account maintenance and research.
  • Recommend and promote MFCU products and services in order to build strong financial relationships with members.
  • Proactively assist members in resolving questions and discrepancies.
  • Assist with loan applications and notifying members of loan decisions. Request additional loan information, if required.
  • Coordinate and perform loan closings. Ensure that each loan is prepared, documented, and disbursed in accordance with the MFCU policies and procedures.
  • Support and assist other team members in order to provide quality member service at all times.
  • Responsible for adhering to professional standards of conduct to protect and maintain the Credit Union's reputation with members and the communities we serve.
  • Post member transactions, including transfers and loan payments.
  • Assist members with online banking, bill pay services, and instant issue cards.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of MFCU's products and services.
  • Maintain an ongoing awareness of any developments or changes to policies and procedures.
  • Assist in any areas as directed by Management.

Qualifications:

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • 2 years of financial institution experience and cash handling experience required.
  • 2 years of customer service experience required.
  • Prior New Accounts & Lending experience preferred.
  • Computer knowledge and skills preferred with MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and math accuracy.
  • Friendly, trustworthy, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn credit union systems.
  • Salary: Based on experience.

Work Location:

  • Multiple locations including Hiram, Douglasville, Austell, Marietta

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
