Luna Park in Coney Island is actively recruiting for Seasonal Finance & Administration (Bank Teller) Team Members.


About Us:

Central Amusement International Inc. (CAI) is an amusement park development and management company located in New York City. In 2003, CAI developed Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park, and in 2010 developed Luna Park in Coney Island, at the site of the birthplace of the amusement industry. CAI is part of the Zamperla Group, which is the worldwide leader in the manufacturing of amusement rides.


As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for supporting the services of ticketing Cashiers in the park, in the form of dispersing cash in support of services tendered. This role includes balancing banks and drops daily.


Location: Luna Park in Coney Island, 1000 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224, USA


Job Description:

  • Provide daily banks to ticketing cashiers following cash handling procedures.
  • Follow company procedures for creating and closing banks with minimal error and maximum attentiveness while supporting team members.
  • Embrace a warm and polite approach to customer interactions, embodying the CAI image.
  • Uphold punctuality, reflecting commitment to the team and guest experience.
  • Collaborate within the team, offering assistance when needed.
  • Proactively identify and resolve team member and guest requests, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Utilize computerized cash registers for seamless sales processing.
  • Proactively identify and resolve customer requests, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas, contributing to a welcoming environment.
  • Fulfill assigned tasks with dedication and attention to detail.
  • Adhere to all CAI policies and procedures, ensuring a consistent and positive experience.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in banking, cash handling or customer service is a plus.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with guests and create a positive, memorable experience.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change.
  • Flexibility to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Availability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
  • Physical stamina for standing and moving throughout the shift.
  • Must be outgoing, friendly, courteous, and honest.
  • Able to work in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to operate computers and learn software programs.
