Telemetry Technician at Saint Thomas Hospital for Specialty Surgery

The Telemetry Monitor Technician is responsible for accurate record keeping, observation of monitors and prompt reporting of cardiac rhythm changes. 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent  
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Technician (PCT), Medical Assistant (MA) Certification, or equivalent 
  • Monitor Tech Certification, or completion of a basic dysrhythmias course with documented competencies 
  • BLS Required 
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in a hospital setting preferred
