Job Description

Sr. Data Engineer, Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Technology, Statistics with 5 years of experience; Administer SAS 9.x, SAS Grid, and SAS Viya environments. Manage metadata server, mid-tier, workspace servers, and grid nodes. Integrate SAS with databases such as Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, and DB2. Monitor and manage SAS Grid and SAS Viya both on-premises and on Azure with Kubernetes, focusing on compute nodes, CAS servers, and metadata components. Upgrade SAS environments to newer OS versions and SAS 9.4 M8. Develop and support analytics that run on top of Snowflake, Databricks, and SAS, using SAS Base, SAS Macros, SAS EG, Python, SQL, and PySpark. Build predictive models and advanced analyses for risk adjustment, utilization, readmissions, cost forecasting, and quality metrics using SAS and Databricks Spark ML. Deliver operational and executive dashboards using SAS VA, Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik Sense. Use Git and GitHub for version control of Databricks notebooks, PySpark scripts, SQL code, ADF pipeline definitions, and SAS code. Integrate with Azure DevOps and Jenkins to support CI/CD for data engineering, including automated deployment of Snowflake objects, Databricks jobs, ADF pipelines, and SAS configurations. Skills- SAS, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2, Python, SQL, PySpark, SAS VA, Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik Sense, Git, GitHub. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate to various worksites throughout the U.S., including Irving, TX, Los Gatos , CA, Plano, TX, Boston, MA. No telecommuting.
