Overview

Opening available for Senior Software Engineer, CCV at Cotiviti, Inc. in South Jordan, UT:

Responsibilities

Support and enhance high quality software modules for the Cotiviti product suite. Analyze and resolve software related issues originating from internal or external customers. Document the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production roll-out. Demonstrate proficient working knowledge of the primary discipline and developing knowledge of related disciplines. Execute solution enhancements to improve performance / availability. Communicate technical and operational issues to both engineering and business leadership in a timely manner. Ensure that all technology standards are adhered to while developing systems. Explore new ideas and make innovative contributions to existing processes or systems which improve efficiency and results. Continuously improve and enhance knowledge of new technologies as selected and integrated into the Cotiviti product suite. Execute all appropriate facets of the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle with a desire for continuous improvement. Mentor other developers.

Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related. Three (3) years of experience in development of software applications handling patient data in compliance with regulatory frameworks such as HIPPA. Work experience to include: Three (3) years of experience designing and maintaining microservices architecture using Java; Three (3) years of experience optimizing performance and enhancing reliability of microservices-based systems; Three (3) years of experience with relational databases (SQL ORACLE); Three (3) years of experience with ETL processes including StreamSets; Three (3) years of experience with Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Vert.x); Three (3) years of experience creating REST/SOAP APIs; Three (3) years of experience in GraphQL; Three (3) years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server; Three (3) years of experience with PostgreSQL; Three (3) years of experience with AWS; Three (3) years of experience with MongoDB; Two (2) years of experience working with healthcare datasets including medical and/or insurance claims; Optimization and tuning of SQL/Oracle queries, stored procedures, and triggers; OOA and OOD; One or more Enterprise Scheduling tools; Application of SAFe agile practices; Working with large data sets; CI/CD (OpenShift, BitBucket, and Bamboo). Base compensation ranges from at least $137,564. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
