At Ervin Cable Construction, LLC, as a Drafting Designing Coordinator, you'll assist in creating and modifying telecommunications and permit drawings, ensuring designs meet customer specifications. They help manage project timelines, produce drafts using AutoCAD or other software, and provide timely information to the team.
Office based in Kansas City, MO. Remote position.

What you'll do
  • Create or modify telecommunications and permit drawings
  • Design small extensions and small system redesigns, in accordance with customer design specifications
  • Produce high-quality drafts using AutoCAD or other specified software for mapping data and design
  • Coordinate project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that drafting and design work aligns with overall project goals
  • Provide necessary information to the team on a timely basis, including strand maps, drafted design maps, and BOM's or digital files
  • Maintain high production levels to meet & exceed client expectations
  • Learn new software and adapt to new technology as needed
  • Meet project deadlines and successfully complete tasks under tight timelines
  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll need
  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or up to two years of Telecom Outside Plant (OSP) Design/Engineering Experience is required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred
  • Coursework or internship experience in design and drafting is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures
  • Routinely: Work alone in remote locations, use keyboard and mouse
  • Occasionally: Operate vehicle, climb stairs, stand, walk

The wage range for Coordinator Drafting/Designing is $18.00 - $24.00
