We are seeking a detail-oriented Telecommunications BIM Designer to join our multi-disciplinary engineering team. In this role, you will be the bridge between high-level design intent and constructable reality. You will be responsible for the setup, management, and coordination of Revit BIM models, ensuring seamless integration across all design disciplines-including mechanical, electrical, and structural systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Model Management: Lead the setup and daily management of Revit BIM models, ensuring alignment with both firm and client-specific standards.
- Cross-Discipline Coordination: Utilize Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to create fully coordinated 3D models, proactively identifying and resolving clashes with other trade disciplines.
- Documentation: Translate verbal direction and markups from senior engineers into detailed 2D construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Efficiency & Estimation: Estimate the hours required for modeling and design tasks based on project scope and provided markups.
- Quality Control: Maintain high levels of consistency and detail throughout the design lifecycle, ensuring all deliverables meet rigorous industry codes and standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Technical Expertise: At least 3 years of Revit BIM design experience and proficiency with Navisworks.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years in telecommunications systems design and the construction industry.
- Technical Knowledge: * A foundational understanding of wiring/cabling connections (circuits/links).
- A growing mastery of how codes, standards, and construction specifications shape design decisions.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar digital markup tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and a proactive willingness to learn new technologies and workflows.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of Revit MEP design experience.
- Background in semiconductor or advanced facility environments.
- Design experience with specialized systems: Paging, Intercom, and Audio-Visual (AV).
- Knowledge of Life Safety & Security: Fire alarm, access control, and CCTV.
- Understanding of control systems, network components, and network topology.
