About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our field operations team in Lexington, KY. This position is ideal for professionals with experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications infrastructure in residential and commercial environments.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with fiber optics, structured cabling, broadband systems, and telecommunications equipment, along with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Install, terminate, and maintain fiber optic, coaxial, and Cat5e/Cat6 cabling.
  • Perform telecommunications installations for residential and commercial customers.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot broadband, internet, voice, and networking equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve connectivity, cabling, and telecommunications system issues.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate project updates.
  • Follow company safety policies and industry best practices on every job site.
  • Deliver professional customer service while working independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in telecommunications, broadband, fiber optic, or low-voltage experience.
  • Experience with fiber optic installations, structured cabling, or telecommunications infrastructure.
