Job description

BASIC FUNCTION:Assist in the planning, drafting, surveying, and inspection of Telecommunication systems projects.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Review engineering data, designs, plans, and splice documents to develop computer-aided drawings and maps of physical features.
  2. Use survey equipment to gather and compile field information and inspect construction activities to ensure work is completed according to approved plans and specifications.
  3. Prepare detailed drawings, maps, and supporting documentation for electric and telecommunication systems distribution facilities.
  4. Monitor work in progress and prepare and process partial payment requests.
  5. Operate a variety of equipment, including computers, peripherals, and engineering software such as ESRI ArcMap, AutoCAD, and CrescentLink, as well as plotters, copiers, and other related office equipment.
