Job description

The Housley Group is looking for an individual that has experience with Bury Telecommunications (Drop), this is a part-time position for the Carrollton, Texas area.

  • Monitor quality assurance by inspecting, testing, and measuring work being performed. Ensure that quality standards are strictly followed, and daily or weekly production goals are met.
  • While performing the position Drop Inspector, it is occasionally necessary to bend, squat, crawl, reach above shoulder level, crouch, kneel, balance, push/pull equipment.
  • The employee would occasionally be required to carry loads up to and including 100 lbs.
  • The employee would occasionally be required to lift loads up to and including 100 lbs. and the employee would frequently be required to lift loads up to and including 10 lbs.
  • The job requires repetitive movement of both feet. Simple grasping with both hands is necessary.
  • The position of Drop Inspector - Housley Group also requires being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature/humidity, driving automotive equipment, exposure to dust, fumes, and gases (OCCASIONALLY).
  • Will assist with quality complaints/inspections, customer complaints, daily operations with Buried Crews.
  • Telecommunications experience helpful, but not required.
