We're hiring a Telecommunications Administrator at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO, and we're looking for someone who's ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. 

EquipmentShare is searching for a Telecommunications Administrator for our Corporate office in Columbia MO to help us deploy and maintain our telecommunications  infrastructure with an emphasis on Webex Calling and Webex Contact Center administration. 

Primary Responsibilities
  • Administer, deploy, monitor and maintain EquipmentShare's VOIP telephony systems nationwide 
  • Work effectively with 3rd party vendors and contractors to deploy/troubleshoot new and existing systems 
  • Provide excellent customer service to our staff/internal teams to efficiently solve problems 
  • Provide tier 2 technical support as issues arise with the ability to be on call/work after-hours when necessary and/or as requested 
  • Manage life cycle of hardware deployments, unified communication applications, migrations, etc. for all locations 
  • Professional and detailed documentation of all existing and new environments 
  • Help maintain data and voice networks by troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance 
  • Responsible for assisting, coordinating and performing EquipmentShare's telecommunications work which includes add's, moves, and changes 
  • Identify end user needs/requirements and mobilize existing and new technology
  • Travel to company locations within current and future markets as needed
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and certifications 
  • Assist IT Management in selecting and implementing new Telecom technology as needed, including Cloud based Contact Center and VoIP systems throughout the company 
  • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the technical capabilities of telecommunication systems and reduce operating costs 
  • Coordinate with key internal staff and vendors to ensure IT Infrastructure activities for new locations (including stores, warehouses, and office locations) are completed in a timely and accurate manner

Skills & Qualifications 
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully take ownership and drive multiple concurrent objectives or activities, and effectively make decisions to prioritize tasks and allocate time given evolving business priorities 
  • Deep knowledge of computer hardware and networking infrastructure

Education and Experience: 
  • Associate's degree in Networking Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field, OR comparable level of professional experience 
  • Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification, preferred
  • At least 3+ years experience in Networking and/or Telecommunications field
  • Experience in Call Center administration, IVR systems, Enterprise Telecommunications Infrastructure including VoIP systems, Cloud-based technologies, PBX phone switching systems, Call Routing, Dial Plans, and reporting software 
Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
    • Must hold a valid drivers license.  
    • Ability to work in a multi-office environment and willingness to travel to other offices nationwide as required.  Travel time could be 10%-20% of the time and overnight may be required.
