Job Overview
The PMO engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of large and complex projects and is the single point of contact for assigned projects. Projects to include site expansions and relocations, automation, and safety.

  • Setting project scope and objectives, defining milestones, creating the project plan, and managing the execution, implementation, and closure of the project.
  • Coordinating across multiple functional areas to successfully complete complex business and data related projects that are short, medium, and long range in duration.
  • Assisting in establishing the project budget and delivering on-time and within budget.
  • Monitoring and reporting project statuses to team and assessing results.
  • Maintaining and enhancing good customer relations by providing reliable and prompt communications to internal and external stakeholders with both written and verbal excellence.
  • Conceptualizing project plans and determining steps for implementation.
  • Coordinating tasks assigned to vendors.
  • Designing solutions for complex technical issues.
  • Developing solutions that solve user problems, using computer-aided design tools.
  • Evaluating design solutions against industry standards and regulations
  • Utilizing content expertise as an advisor for complex projects.
  • Leading a team of managers.

What will help you thrive in this role?
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field (Mechanical Preferred)
  • PMI/CPM/PMP certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with project management (required).
  • 5+ of site expansion and/or relocation experience
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical and facility design.
  • Experience within SAP or other ERP business systems preferred.
  • Strong comprehensive knowledge of business systems and applications, such as Microsoft Project or Project Server (required)
  • Strong knowledge of business processes across all functional areas is preferable with a good working knowledge of how Master Data is critical to effective business process execution.
