Job description

Project Manager | Edmonton

Our client, a well-established General Contractor with a strong presence across Western Canada, is looking to add a Project Manager to their team to support a large-scale industrial construction project in the Edmonton / Fort Saskatchewan area.


The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of project delivery, from preconstruction and procurement through construction execution and closeout. This role will work closely with Operations, Superintendents, consultants, subcontractors, and ownership groups to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.


Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day project operations and project financials

• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and client communication

• Support budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and procurement activities

• Lead project meetings including OAC and internal coordination meetings

• Monitor project schedules, costs, quality, and risk management processes

• Assist with tendering, bid reviews, and contract administration

• Ensure projects maintain strong safety and quality standards throughout execution


Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor

• Industrial, institutional, or large commercial construction experience preferred

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, budgeting, scheduling, and contracts

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred


Must have recently delivered a large-scale industrial construction project from start to finish within a General Contractor environment. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and overall project background.
