Description
At Utilities One, we are driven by innovation, operational excellence, and a commitment to building the future of critical infrastructure. As a trusted turnkey solutions provider across telecom, power, water, renewable energy, and data center sectors, we deliver high-quality services that connect and empower communities. In addition to our core operations, we offer specialized consulting services that help our clients design, optimize, and execute complex infrastructure projects with confidence and precision. We believe our greatest strength is our people - a team of dedicated professionals who bring expertise, collaboration, and integrity to everything they do. Join us and become part of a growing organization where your contributions make a meaningful impact.
As a Telecom Bid & Pricing Manager, you will own the end-to-end bid and pricing process for telecom infrastructure and network deployment opportunities. This role develops competitive pricing strategies, coordinates cross-functional bid inputs, prepares accurate cost estimates and commercial proposals, identifies technical and commercial risks, and delivers compliant, high-quality RFP responses on time. Success requires strong commercial acumen, rigorous bid and pricing discipline, excellent stakeholder coordination, and a practical understanding of telecom infrastructure, construction, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full RFP/bid lifecycle for telecom opportunities, from opportunity qualification through pricing, proposal development, and final submission;
  • Develop cost estimates, pricing models, and commercial proposals based on project scope, technical requirements, and business objectives;
  • Analyze technical requirements, project documentation, and customer specifications to define scope, identify risks, and ensure solution alignment;
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, operations, procurement, finance, and legal) to develop accurate, competitive, and timely bid responses;
  • Ensure proposals comply with customer requirements, contractual obligations, and internal governance and approval processes;
  • Track submitted bids, support customer clarifications and negotiations, and ensure a smooth handover to project delivery and contract management for awarded projects.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Telecommunications, Finance, or a related field preferred;
  • 5+ years of experience in bid management, proposal management, pricing, or commercial operations within the telecommunications or infrastructure industry;
  • Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, network deployment, and construction environments (OSP, wireless, fiber, civil, engineering, or related scopes);
  • Experience preparing RFP/RFQ responses and supporting telecom carriers, network operators, or enterprise clients;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously while coordinating cross-functional teams and meeting tight deadlines;
  • Strong analytical, pricing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
    Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

Benefits
  • Health Insurance plans (health, dental, vision);
  • Whole Life Insurance;
  • 401k Plan;
  • PTO/Paid Holidays;
  • Great Work Environment;
  • Career Advancement Opportunities.
