Role: Telecom Expense Analyst / ITSM Telecom Analyst
Experience: 6-8 Years

About the Role
We are looking for a Telecom Expense Analyst with strong expertise in telecom billing, assurance, and expense management.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing telecom inventory, validating billing accuracy, optimizing telecom costs, and driving platform consolidation initiatives across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Telecom Billing & Expense Management
  • Analyze and validate telecom billing data across services such as DIA, Broadband, MPLS, and other data circuits
  • Perform billing audits, verification, and charge-back analysis to ensure cost accuracy
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support telecom expense optimization initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, SLAs, and telecom vendor agreements
Inventory & Platform Management
  • Maintain and consolidate telecom inventory and billing platforms into a unified system
  • Work with tools like Calero (Telecom Expense Management platform)
  • Drive TEM platform integration, migration, and reporting standardization
  • Publish accurate metrics and dashboards for management reporting
Reporting & Forecasting
  • Develop and maintain reports, KPIs, and dashboards related to telecom spend
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly telecom run rates
  • Provide insights into usage trends, cost drivers, and optimization opportunities
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with telecom carriers, IT teams, finance, and accounts payable
  • Manage and monitor vendor SLAs, contracts, and performance metrics
  • Participate in RFP processes, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiations
  • Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with vendors
Process Improvement & Operations
  • Develop processes for ordering, provisioning, and disconnecting telecom services
  • Streamline telecom operations and improve billing lifecycle processes
  • Support audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead or support large-scale telecom transformation projects
Required Skills & Experience
  • 6-8 years of experience in Telecom Expense Management / Telecom Billing / ITSM
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Telecom billing and assurance processes
    • Telecom inventory management
    • Data circuits (DIA, MPLS, Broadband)
  • Hands-on experience with TEM tools (e.g., Calero or similar platforms)
  • Experience in billing audits, cost optimization, and financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of SLAs, contracts, and vendor management
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and dashboarding
Preferred Skills
