Job Title: Production Reliability Engineer
Location: Toronto, ON
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Production Reliability Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will ensure production stability, operational excellence, and service reliability across critical enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Support production reliability across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments.
  • Support modernization initiatives for core banking, payments, citizen services, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, charging platforms, and telecom customer applications.
  • Monitor production systems and respond to incidents affecting service availability.
  • Lead root cause analysis and problem management activities.
  • Support telecom operations, network services, and customer-facing digital platforms.
  • Implement automation to reduce manual operational effort.
  • Monitor application performance, capacity, and service-level objectives.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous service improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Production Reliability Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments.
  • Experience supporting banking systems, government applications, OSS/BSS, billing, charging, or telecom platforms.
  • Strong production support and incident management experience.
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, and performance management tools.
  • Experience supporting cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Experience with automation and scripting technologies.
  • Understanding of governance, compliance, and security requirements.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise systems.
  • SRE, Cloud, or DevOps certification preferred.
