The IT Intern Vendor and Budget supports the Information Technology department's vendor management program and budget management processes. The intern will manage vendor changes and the required paperwork to do business which may result in internal review across different teams. Additionally, this intern will obtain and work with data to support differing vendor lifecycle activities. This will include the proper tracking, reporting, and communication of data used across the organization.

Major Responsibilities

  • Work with vendors - along with internal teams as needed - to ensure proper paperwork is in place prior to on-boarding (such as NDAs and MPSAs).

  • Assist with vendor record updates (e.g., name changes, banking updates, and other administrative updates).

  • Gather Telecom invoices from differing vendor portals and be responsible for budgeting payments each month.

  • Support the IT capitalization program, related tracking, and communicate trends across the departments/to employees.

  • Support vendor onboarding activities and documentation.

  • Communicate and work cross functionally.

  • Gather, analyze, and report reconciled data

Minimum Job Requirements

Education

Currently enrolled as a sophomore level or above in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.

Work Experience

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Proficient in Microsoft application ability - specifically Excel and Outlook

Payment of bills via an online portal

Accurate budget and record keeping ability

Basic technical aptitude

Ability to troubleshoot and identify patterns

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Copilot (Any kind of AI Tool) knowledge

Office Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
