What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
As an Electrician with L&A Utility Solutions, you will handle the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power systems, conduit, and utility connections.
  • Power & Service Installations: Install, wire, and connect electrical services, disconnect switches, power meters, and distribution panels.
  • Conduit & Cabling: Run, bend, and secure EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit; pull wire and cable for aerial and underground applications.
  • System Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical components, control systems, and power hookups for utility and telecom structures.
  • Aerial & Field Work: Operate bucket trucks safely to perform electrical work on utility poles, light structures, and rooftops.
  • Blueprint & Plan Reading: Interpret electrical single-line diagrams, schematics, site construction prints, and NEC specifications accurately.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a strict safety mindset, adhering to OSHA, NEC (National Electrical Code), and company safety standards at all times.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in commercial, industrial, or utility electrical work.
  • Licensing/Certifications: Valid Apprentice, Residential, or Journeyman Electrician License preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of AC/DC circuits, conduit bending, wire sizing, grounding/bonding, and the NEC.
  • Aerial Work: Comfortable working at heights from bucket trucks or ladders (safety training provided).
  • Driver Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean record (CDL is a major plus).
  • Safety Certifications: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred (we will assist the right candidate in obtaining this).
