Center for Teens is an outpatient facility dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health treatment exclusively for adolescents. Our mission is to address the rapidly growing adolescent mental health crisis with evidence-based treatment delivered by talented, highly skilled, and compassionate therapists.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Therapist Intern to join our team. As a Therapist Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of teenagers and their families, providing treatment that is tailored to meet each individual's unique needs. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) are DBT-aligned, measurement-based, and family-centered.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide group therapy sessions to adolescents and their families

  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other treatment team members

  • Implement evidence-based treatments, including DBT and CBT

  • Collaborate with families to involve them in the treatment process and promote overall well-being

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field

  • Strong knowledge of adolescent development and mental health principles

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

  • Familiarity with DBT and CBT treatments is a plus
