Mission 1:27 builds meaningful experiences and encourages connections that develop individuals, strengthen relationships and families, and reveal life-changing hope and truth through the Gospel. We serve people to glorify God and see lives transformed in loving obedience to James 1:27.


About the Role:

An entrepreneurial, relationship-driven leader who loves the Lord and leads by example to guide middle school students to recognize their strengths, leverage their talents, solidify their relationship with the Lord and ready themselves for the next stage of their lives. This leader will fully understand and embrace the importance of a position in ministry and will strive to make disciples who are ready for the marketplace in accordance with 2 Timothy 3:17, "that the person of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."


This leader will:

  • Lead an Afterschool Program: Design and run a 3-day-a-week program packed with discipleship, academic help, career skills, sports, and creative activities. Additionally, support student weekly service in the Adventure Center, and spend time mentoring students.
  • Collaborate and Connect: Work closely with parents, community partners, and the Mission 1:27 team to bring unique opportunities like career exposure and field trips. At least one outing per month is expected as well as occassional overnight trips and camps during school breaks.
  • Mentor and Inspire: Be a role model, guiding students in leadership, healthy relationships, and character development-teaching them the value of faith, generosity, and discipline.
  • Create Memorable Moments: Make every event meaningful, helping teens see exciting possibilities for their future.
  • Shape Future Leaders: Build partnerships with local businesses to offer students career pathways and mentorship opportunities.
  • Lead with Faith: Follow Christ's example, making disciples through a fun, supportive, and enriching environment.

  • 25+ years old with a positive driving history to meet insurance requirements of transporting youth
