Job description

The St Clair Shores Public Library is now accepting applications for a part-time Library Assistant.

Interested individuals must be able to work 15-20 hours per week including nights and weekends.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Helps ensure the library and its materials are in proper order by accurate shelving and shelf-reading of library materials.

Assists with program setup, including arranging chairs and tables in meeting rooms.

Provides exemplary customer service by answering directional questions from patrons and assisting them as needed at the copier.

No experience is required.

Applicants MUST be 18 years of age at time of hire.
