Job Description

Successful and creative entrepreneur with a background in marketing, in journalism, and in accounting, seeks a graphic design/marketing manager to be his right hand. The chief focus of this business is the development of intellectual property in the consumer goods and media content space. The business was founded in 2006 with the launch of the bestselling stroller accessory called The Mommy Hook (www.themommyhook.com). We recently sold the intellectual property related to this product - including approximately 20 trademarks and patents - to a business partner. Now we are aiming for additional wins in consumer goods and in other markets, including clothing, publishing, and music and other media content licensing, production, and distribution.
This position's required skills include the following:
1. Graphic design.
2. Social media management.
3. Website design, coding and development.
4. Video editing.
5. An understanding of trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
6. Business sense.
7. Creativity.
8. Drive, determination, and ambition.
9. The ability to manage vendors and freelancers.
