Job description

Great opportunities are made, not given. And we want to make this a great opportunity for you!
Tier One Partners is seeking a highly motivated Account Director with deep B2B tech PR experience to play a leadership role in our growing agency.
Our ideal candidate has 6-8 years of experience in PR and earned media, preferably in a technology PR agency environment, and is a pro at managing teams, developing strategy for innovative B2B technology brands, and driving programs that consistently deliver stellar results.
This person comes ready on day one with outstanding client service and account management skills. A successful Account Director is someone who can:
  • Develop annual and project plans that support client marketing and business objectives
  • Maintain trusted client relationships, including serving as day-to-day client lead on multiple accounts
  • Leverage prior experience in and knowledge of the B2B technology (including AI, cloud, data, and analytics) and digital health sectors to drive account strategies
  • Lead media relations strategies for all proactive/reactive opportunities; motivate teams and lead by example by applying creativity and curiosity to deliver outstanding print, digital and broadcast results that meet program metrics
  • Develop clear and compelling written materials, including plans, press releases, and contributed editorial content
  • Manage accounts including hours, budgets, and expenses
  • Manage and motivate staff to drive forward client activity
  • Understand core attributes of program measurement; develop measurement goals and track account results accordingly

Now in our 20th year, Tier One Partners is a woman founded and led integrated marketing agency. We are an award-winning team of strategic thinkers, trendspotters, creators, and digital changemakers who are agile and proactive by design. Our earned media, creative content, and digital marketing strategies, combined with our relentless pursuit of results, bring our clients' visions and missions to the forefront - and keep them there.
We offer a robust benefits package, including health/dental/vision, a 401K program with an employer match, a flexible vacation model, Summer and Winter Fridays with abbreviated hours, and more. Tier One operates in a hybrid model, working two days a week from our Boston office, which is centrally located near major public transportation hubs.
