Job description

Technical projects rarely go wrong all at once. They slip in small ways: a scheduling conflict nobody caught, hardware that arrived late, a client who had to ask for an update instead of getting one. The job of a great Project Coordinator is making sure the small things stay small.

DataVizion's project pipeline is growing, and our Project Management team needs a coordinator who keeps every engagement moving: on schedule, on budget, and with clients who always know where things stand. If that describes how you already work, keep reading.

Who We Are

DataVizion designs, deploys, and supports technology infrastructure: networking, wireless, security, and systems, for clients who count on us to get complex technical work done right and on time. Our Project Management team is the throughline between sales, engineering, and the client. This role sits at the center of that work.

What Your Days Look Like

  • Coordinate scheduling of technicians, engineers, and equipment across multiple concurrent projects, adjusting as priorities and timelines shift.
  • Lead client-facing calls, including kickoffs, status updates, and issue escalations, as the day-to-day contact for project logistics.
  • Own project documentation: schedules, task trackers, status reports, and change logs, so every stakeholder works from the same information.
  • Track hours and progress against the scope of work, and flag schedule or scope risks before they become problems.
  • Coordinate procurement and delivery logistics for hardware and equipment on active projects.
  • Act as the connective tissue between project managers, technical teams, and clients, resolving coordination issues without waiting to be asked.
  • Support the Director of Project Management with reporting, process improvements, and coordination needs across the portfolio.

What Success Looks Like a Year In

The project calendar runs smoothly. On-time delivery is strong across the portfolio. And when clients describe working with DataVizion, they say the same thing: we always knew what was happening with our project. That is your fingerprint on the business.

What You Bring

Required:

  • 2+ years coordinating projects, ideally in IT, telecom, or another technical services environment.
  • Experience scheduling technical resources or field teams across multiple active workstreams.
  • Comfort leading client calls and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and a track record of managing concurrent projects without dropping details.
  • Experience with project or scheduling tools such as ConnectWise, Autotask, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Nice to have:

  • Experience at a managed services provider (MSP) or IT solutions company.
  • CAPM, or actively working toward PMP certification.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure project terminology: firewalls, wireless deployments, server migrations, network refreshes.
  • Experience with CRM or PSA (professional services automation) platforms.

Location

This position is fully remote. Availability for client and team calls across standard business hours is expected.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role.

What You'll Get:

  • Flexible work schedule
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Health, Vision, Dental, and Supplemental Insurance Plans
  • HSA (including monthly employer contributions)
  • Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
  • 401k profit-sharing plan
  • Employee Assistance Program Services
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Team celebrations
