Job description

IT Program Project Delivery (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Berwyn, PA): Will work within the Platform Engineering organization to drive strategic programs delivering next generation IT infrastructure leveraging public cloud and modern infrastructure technologies to enable firmwide transformation. Specific duties include: Drive the development and implementation process of complex multi stream programs, products, and services leveraging Agile practices; Apply background in software engineering and infrastructure technologies to provide cross-functional leadership to build alignment for efforts such as product architecture and solutions to complex technical needs; Work directly with Platform Engineering teams, our Transformation partners in Technology Platform Engineering and Operations (TPEO), Business CIO teams, Global Cyber Security, Lines of Defense, key Technology partners and other stakeholders, helping ensure the timely completion of our Transformation-driven deliverables and nurturing cross-group collaboration; Work with key global stakeholders to support program prioritization and demand; Provide program/project structure to multiple workstreams; Lead program planning and status meetings and coordinate teams and deliverables; Maintain deliverables, risks, and other issues, formulate mitigation plans and drive escalation process; Identify cross team dependencies and manage conflicts; Manage all relevant items, reports, filters etc. in Atlassian Jira; Produce and communicate aggregate status reports, metrics and management-facing narrative for projects in scope; Optimize program spend and regularly present recommendations; Collaborate with vendor partners to ensure smooth execution of deliverables and outcomes; and Drive and manage multiple workstreams concurrently. Hybrid-Remote telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science or a related technical discipline; plus 5 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management.

Total experience above must include the following: At least one certification on the appropriate cloud provider such as AWS practitioner; 3 years of experience in infrastructure platform engineering and operations. Must also have the following: prior experience in projects engineering and operations; Prior experience in projects engineering landing zones on a public cloud provider (AWS, Azure or GCP); Prior experience in modern infrastructure and automation technologies (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes, Harness, Ansible, VMWare etc.); Prior experience in public cloud migrations; Prior experience running programs leveraging Agile ways of working and best practices; Demonstrated experience in the financial services industry or another highly regulated industry; and Prior working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence. (Unless otherwise indicated, State Street is seeking the ability in the skills listed above with no specific number of years of experience required. All experience can be gained concurrently).

Salary Range:

$128,232 - $235,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
