Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead one or more large or platform programs independently; lead globally distributed teams

  • Act as Team Lead to assigned programs, building a team of cross-functional members, conducting meetings, establishing deliverables and accountability, communicating progress and results to all interested parties, and ensuring that all critical elements of the program, from design to commercialization, are on target to meet objectives

  • Provide leadership on measures, impact assessment, removal of roadblocks, conflicts, and change of scope decisions

  • Prepare and deliver executive level communication and/or presentations regarding product reviews / forums, New Product Development (NPD), etc. to varying audiences up to and including the CEO.

  • Provide New Product Development training to all core team personnel worldwide; create and update training materials as a subject matter expert

  • Identify, plan and lead process improvement initiatives to support the growth and development or best practices and process

  • Ensure New Product Development and business processes compliance for programs

  • Communicate program status, issues and metrics to the Business Unit

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, applied science, finance, business, management, or economics

  • An advanced degree in directly applicable area of study may substitute for up to two (2) years of experience.

  • Preferred - PMP Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong reading comprehension skills

  • Ability to understand business objectives

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to lead and run stakeholder meetings

  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Project and schedule techniques and best practices

  • Familiarity with general MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, or equivalent

  • Ability to efficiently communicate to all levels of organization or outside partners; excellent presentation skills; ability to lead a team of engineers in a matrix environment; strong analytical skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to analyze team progress, provide executive level presentations on that analysis with business impacts, and develop and present proposed mitigation plans

  • Excellent listening skills

  • Desire to seek out and complete trainings relevant to the position or projects assigned

  • Display high emotional Intelligence to connect meaningfully with team members

  • Ability to make decisions rapidly

The pay range for this position is $102,600.00 - $193,425.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
