Job description

Lead multi-year, enterprise-wide technology transformations aligned to the defined Network Services Strategic Roadmap, focusing on optimizing and modernizing the company's network infrastructure. Work on strategic upgrades to the Wide Area Network (WAN), local and wireless networks across all branch locations, and the security architecture defending the entire enterprise. Manage the overall planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budget, timeline, and technical requirements. Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps for the network modernization program, ensuring it aligns with overall business and IT strategies. Define program vision, scope, and objectives, translating high-level business requirements into executable technical deliverables. Manage the full program lifecycle from initiation to closure, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management for all constituent projects. Utilize and promote best practices in project delivery, leveraging methodologies such as Agile, Prince2/PMP, or a hybrid. Provide expert guidance on modernization efforts related to key network technologies. Collaborate with network and security architecture teams to ensure all solutions are scalable, resilient, and compliant with established standards. Drive the adoption of network infrastructure-as-code and automation to enhance efficiency and agility. Identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks and dependencies, developing effective contingency plans. Function as the central point of contact, communicating program status, risks, and performance metrics to executive leadership and key stakeholders. Lead change management efforts to ensure the successful adoption of new technologies and operational processes across the organization. Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and ongoing management for all telecommunications services, hardware, and software contracts. Manage the multi-million-dollar program budget, tracking forecasts versus actuals and providing regular financial reporting. Coordinate, host, and facilitate structured workshops with internal technical teams and external vendors to drive alignment on technical designs, solution planning, and integration strategies. Create and present business cases to secure funding and executive support for network modernization initiatives. Develop detailed financial models that include a profit and loss view, comparing modernization options against the "Cost to Archive" or maintain legacy systems. Work with technical project and program management expertise utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies; networking technologies and network monitoring; cloud technologies and services, including AWS, Azure, and GCP; data visualization and the ability to define and track objectives and key results (OKRs); financial modeling and analysis, including creating business cases for large-scale technology investments; and, managing multi-year, complex technical programs from inception to completion.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or a related field of study, plus five (5) years of experience with technical project and program management expertise utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies; networking technologies and network monitoring; cloud technologies and services, including AWS, Azure, and GCP; data visualization and the ability to define and track objectives and key results (OKRs); financial modeling and analysis, including creating business cases for large-scale technology investments; and, managing multi-year, complex technical programs from inception to completion.
