Surgical Technician (Surg Tech) - General Surgery   

Job Type: Full Time | Day 

$12,000 Sign on Bonus (3 yr commitment)

Schedule: 5x8, Day (6:30 am - 3:00 pm), Monday - Friday

How you'll contribute 

A Surg Tech who excels in this role: 

  • Prepare the operating room by setting up instruments, equipment, sterile solutions, and supplies before procedures.

  • Help prepare patients for surgery, including positioning and ensuring the surgical site is properly prepped.

  • Maintain a sterile field at all times and uphold the highest standards of aseptic technique to prevent infection.

  • Anticipate the surgeon's needs, passing instruments and supplies efficiently and safely throughout the procedure.

  • Assist with tasks such as holding retractors, cutting sutures, handling specimens, and applying dressings as directed.

  • Participate in pre‑ and post‑procedure counts, room turnover, cleaning, and restocking to keep cases running smoothly.

 What we're looking for

Applicants should have a high school diploma and completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Minimum of 1 year Surg Tech experience is required.

Additional requirements include:

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Surg Tech experience required. 
  • Preferred Experience: Total Joint procedures (hip, knee, and shoulder), Neuro Spine, robotic cases for General Surgery and OB, and cystoscopies.
