IT Operations Engineer – Join a Growing Team!
Are you a skilled IT professional with experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and end users? We are seeking an IT Operations Engineer to oversee and maintain critical IT systems while providing exceptional technical support across multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and thrives on solving complex technical challenges.
Please note: This position requires the ability to commute between our Midway, TN and Tazewell, TN locations as business needs require.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier II/III technical support for end users and oversee daily help desk operations.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and IT infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime across multiple locations.
  • Support Windows server environments, Active Directory, network switches, routers, firewalls, and virtualization technologies.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
  • Perform system updates, backups, disaster recovery procedures, and routine maintenance.
  • Document IT processes, procedures, and technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to implement new technologies and improve IT operations.
  • Maintain compliance with company security standards and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • 2–3 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or network administration.
  • Experience managing help desk operations.
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, server administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting Windows environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
