THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: 

The IT Manager Logistics and Warehouse Operations  is responsible for both enhancements and deployment for multiple Distribution Center applications including WMS, WCS, WES, and warehouse automation. Responsibilities include setting scope, leading requirements, design, build out and test.  This role will also serve as an escalation point for steady state issues.  This role will manage several cross functional relationships with third party vendors, IT, and Supply Chain to ensure an optimal performance.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY: 

  • Lead distribution software implementations including design, build test, and deployment.
  • Guides functional teams focused on ongoing improvements for WMS. WES, and WCS installs
  • Manages onshore and offshore teams responsible for application development
  • Helps own relationship with supply chain team and technology providers
  • Ensures seamless integration of all Distribution applications across Ulta’s various warehouse operating models
  • Validates all quality assurance scenarios and scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Works with LOGWHO leadership to ensure optimal project resourcing
  • Works closely with Performance Monitoring Team to help them plan and excute and later review the Performance Test results.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working with Dev ops team onshore and offshore, coordinates break-fix & enhancements to improve application performance and uptime.
  • Responsible for SOX compliant code installation.
  • Builds and develop talent that drives a winning culture.
  • Manage project budgets and resource allocation for LOGWHO initiatives.
  • Manages development of Supply Chain Change requests to drive Distribution KPIs
  • Works with supply chain tom build effective change management strategies
  • Explores and recommends technical solutions to  meet business requirements.
  • Creates and updates documentation such as technical specifications, process flows, integration diagrams and installation documents.
  • Continually evolve the team through introduction and deployment of  industry leading practices

ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a focus in Information Technology or Supply Chain Management.
  • Complex understanding of Supply Chain Strategies, Design, Systems and Processes.
  • 10 plus years’ experience with WMS or other relevant supply chain applications (i.e. WES, TMS) preferred)
  • Ability to write SQL  statements ranging from medium to high complexity.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Automations like ASRS and AutoStore.
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to successfully execute initiatives with minimal guidance and accomplish the stated goals
  • Ability to manage, drive and accept accountability across an integrated team in a production support environment across multiple geographies.
  • Significant experience with large scale supply chain application deployments.
  • Good verbal and written skills to communicate with associates and all levels of management.
  • Ability to work long hours and weekends as dictated by business needs.
  • Ability to travel to our Distribution Centers for go live, hypercare and support. Approximately 20% travel is involved.

The pay range for this position is $119,300.00 - $167,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
