Ad Technology Manager

(New York, NY)

Good Karma is looking for a full-time Ad Technology Manager to join our New York team. This is an in-office position. The Ad Technology Manager will support the execution, optimization, and continued improvement of digital advertising platforms and campaign workflows. This role will oversee campaign setup, QA testing, platform coordination, vendor support, tracking support, documentation, performance analysis, and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, partner outcomes, revenue opportunities, and the overall user experience.

Career responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the day-to-day execution and optimization of digital advertising products, campaigns, and platform workflows across testing and production environments.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing for digital campaigns to ensure accurate launch, delivery, rendering, tracking, and user experience across devices, browsers, and environments.
  • Manage, train, and provide workflow direction to part-time teammates supporting evening quality checks and high-visibility digital campaign launches.
  • Build, traffic, test, and monitor digital advertising campaigns in publisher ad servers and related digital platforms.
  • Create and maintain ad units, inventory packages, campaign setup documentation, and operational standards to support consistent execution across teams.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, publisher partners, and third-party vendors to implement product enhancements, troubleshoot platform issues, and support new digital advertising opportunities.
  • Analyze campaign delivery, inventory utilization, operational metrics, quality findings, and product performance trends to identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, partner outcomes, user experience, and revenue performance.
  • Coordinate issue resolution related to campaign setup, platform performance, tracking, integrations, and product functionality, ensuring appropriate documentation, follow-through, and communication to stakeholders.
  • Ensure digital advertising products, campaigns, and workflows align with platform policies, privacy requirements, industry standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Support tracking implementation, integration troubleshooting, and measurement accuracy in partnership with internal stakeholders, publisher partners, third-party vendors, and the Attribution team, as appropriate.
  • Maintain working knowledge of digital advertising systems, ad serving platforms, content management tools, and related technologies to support product execution and operational problem-solving.
  • Develop, maintain, and document product workflows, operational standards, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing, consistency, and scalable processes.
  • Integrate AI tools into daily workflows to improve campaign troubleshooting, operational efficiency, product management processes, documentation, and overall effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
  • Support special projects, platform initiatives, process improvements, and new digital advertising opportunities that contribute to business growth and partner success.
  • Serve as a Good Karma ambassador by demonstrating the company's core values: Listen, Be Honest, Follow Through, Work Hard, Overdeliver, and Teamwork.

Preferred knowledge, skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital advertising operations, product operations, campaign execution, QA, platform support, or related digital media work is required.
  • 4+ years’ experience working with ad serving, CMS, project management, or digital publishing platforms such as Google Ad Manager, FreeWheel, Operative, JIRA, or equivalent systems is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting campaign launches, platform integrations, troubleshooting, product workflows, or system migrations is preferred.
  • Ability to work across teams while operating independently day-to-day.
  • Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and follow-through skills are required.
  • Partner, publisher, vendor, or client-facing experience is required.
  • Experience providing workflow direction, training, or oversight to teammates is preferred.


Pay Transparency

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, and performance expectations.
