Primary Responsibility:
A key requirement for this role isa strong technical understanding of guides and sensors matched with a solidunderstanding of business profit and loss, costing, pricing, and commercialprinciples. This role supports the Global Product Manager for developing andleading a global product strategy. Beginning with Voice of Customer, Global Product Management plans,organizes, and controls the implementation of guiding solutions in the convertingand related markets, through conceptual stages and product life cycles in orderto optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growthobjectives. Responsibility includes supporting the regions of Americas, EMEAand APAC; with some focus on a specific region. This role is designed todevelop into a Global Product Manager position over time. This position isbased in Oklahoma City, OK and relocation is required, if necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supportsthe direction of the overall global guiding technology strategy, research and developmentrequirements, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products.
Supportsproduct lifecycle from cradle to upgrade.
Supportsnew products throughout the NPD stage gate process.
Providestechnical expertise and training to other departments and sales teams.
Definescustomer/market/product parameters with an emphasis on digital technology,Industry 4.0, Internet of Things, etc. with clear focus on unmet customer needsand generating clear customer value and monetizing that value.
Collaborateswith a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing,manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product technologysolutions for customer needs and market opportunities.
Coordinateswith the Marketing Digital Technology manager on how to leverage product andcommunication for advertising, trade shows and marketing collateral.
Conductsmarket research and identifies and tracks guiding market trends in company'sprimary markets.
Producescompetitive analysis materials comparing solutions with its key competitors.
Supportsglobal pricing strategy & policies around customer value, generates salesaids, tools and supports the sales activity by conducting technicalpresentations.
SupportsProduct Line P&L including pricing, discounts, and gross margins.
Travels extensively (30%+), including all Maxcess Internationallocations, to develop product strategies, support product launches and provideproduct support.
Candidate Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience:

A Bachelor's degree from arecognized college or university with a marketing, business, or engineeringmajor.
Minimum of 2-5 years relatedexperience and/or training. Experience should be broad-based and demonstrateresults oriented, collaborative, team oriented and highly responsiveperformance.
Provide leadership in a complexand rapidly changing environment.
Experience in Industry 4.0 andInternet of Things preferred.
Experience with control loopsystems in industrial applications preferred.
Significant experience with Leanand/or Six Sigma is a plus.
ERP system knowledge andexperience is required - EPICOR or ProAlpha preferred.
Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
