We are seeking a Project Management & Implementation Consultant to support complex technology-enabled transformation initiatives and help clients move successfully from planning and design through implementation and operational transition.

Role Summary

The Project Management & ImplementationConsultantsupports implementation activities across business, operational, and technical teams. This role helpsmaintainproject plans and delivery materials, tracks action items, risks, and dependencies, andassistswith requirements and process documentation. Working closely with project leadership and experienced team members,they helpkeep activities organized, information current, and implementation decisions moving toward operational action. The role provides opportunities to build project management, business analysis, and implementation experience while gradually taking on greater responsibility.

The Senior Consultant manages assigned deliverables, supports coordination within and across workstreams, and provides clear analysis and recommendations to project leadership. Success requires strong organization, technical fluency, attention to detail, and the ability to bring clarity and follow-through to complex delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate implementation activities across business, operational, and technical workstreams
  • Support thedevelopmentandmaintenance ofproject plans, schedules, status reports, decision logs, and other delivery artifacts
  • Track milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items and supporttimelyresolution
  • Support business process analysis, requirements development, solution design, testing, and implementation planning
  • Withdirection,help totranslate business and operational needs into clear inputs for technical teams and implementation partners
  • Supportfacilitators withworking sessions, document decisions, andtrackfollow through onactions and commitments
  • Take initialactiontoanalyze delivery information and provide clear findings, recommendations, and updates to project leadership
  • Support user acceptance testing, deployment readiness, go-live activities, stabilization, and operational transition
  • Coordinate stakeholder communications and ensure affected teams have the information needed to prepare for implementation
  • Draftaccurate, client-ready deliverables and manage assigned work with guidance from project leadership
  • Contribute to VSTIโ€™s project management and implementation methods, tools, and reusable practices
  • Contribute to well-coordinated implementation and measurable progress toward project objectives
  • Provide project leaders with reliable information and analysis that supporttimelydecisions
  • Identifyemerging gaps, risks, and dependencies and raise them early with theappropriate context
  • Translate business, operational, and technical information into clear, useful deliverables
  • Build productive working relationships and contribute to effective collaboration across client and delivery teams
  • Demonstrate accountability for assigned work while seeking guidance and applying feedback
  • Develop increasing confidence, judgment, and ownership as experience and project knowledge grow
  • Contribute tools, insights, and lessons learned that strengthen VSTIโ€™s delivery practices
Qualifications
  • 1 โ€“3years of experience supporting technology implementations, business transformation, project management, or related consulting engagements,preferred
  • Experience coordinating activities across business, operational, and technical teams
  • Ability to track schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, writing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate complex business and technical information into clear, client-ready deliverables
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage competing priorities with guidance from project leadership
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, information systems, public administration, project management, ora relatedfield, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience supporting federal agencies or working in complex, regulated environmentsispreferred
  • Familiarity with project planning, requirements, process analysis, testing, deployment readiness, and operational transitionis a plus
  • Salesforce or other enterprise technology implementation experience is a plus
  • Project management, Agile, business analysis, or related certifications are a plus

Candidateslocatedin the Washington, DC metropolitan areaarepreferred. Hybrid or remote work arrangements may be available depending on client needs. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
