Job Summary

The Business Technology Enablement Lead is responsible for enabling operations teams to successfully deploy, manage, and optimize ATM hardware and software solutions. This role serves as a critical bridge between business operations, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of ATM devices with transaction processing and remote device management platforms. The ideal candidate combines deep operational understanding with strong technical acumen to drive scalable, reliable, and compliant ATM capabilities across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Enablement & Operations Support

  • Enable ATM operations teams to deploy, configure, and manage ATM hardware, operating systems, and application software at scale.

  • Translate business and operational requirements into clear technology enablement plans, processes, and standards.

  • Develop and maintain operational runbooks, deployment playbooks, and support models for ATM platforms.

ATM Platform Integration

  • Lead the integration of ATM hardware and software with transaction processing systems, networks, and remote device management platforms.

  • Partner with architecture and engineering teams to ensure secure, resilient, and compliant end-to-end ATM solutions.

  • Oversee testing, certification, and validation of ATM devices and software releases prior to production deployment.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a primary liaison between operations, technology, ATM vendors, processors, and managed service providers.

  • Manage vendor deliverables related to hardware provisioning, software releases, patches, and lifecycle management.

  • Ensure vendor solutions align with enterprise standards, SLAs, and regulatory requirements.

Lifecycle & Change Management

  • Drive ATM technology lifecycle management, including upgrades, refreshes, patches, and decommissioning.

  • Lead operational readiness for new capabilities, including training, documentation, and change communications.

  • Support incident, problem, and root cause analysis related to ATM hardware, software, and integration issues.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure ATM deployments and integrations comply with security, regulatory, and risk management requirements (e.g., PCI, network security, and operational controls).

  • Participate in audits, risk assessments, and control reviews related to ATM technology and operations.

  • Identify and mitigate operational and technology risks across ATM platforms.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve reliability, performance, automation, and cost efficiency across ATM operations.

  • Leverage metrics and operational insights to drive improvements in uptime, deployment speed, and issue resolution.

  • Stay current on ATM technology trends, industry standards, and emerging capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 8+ years of experience in technology enablement, IT operations, or platform management within financial services or payments.

  • Hands-on experience with ATM hardware, operating systems, and application software.

  • Strong understanding of ATM transaction processing, switching, and remote device management platforms.

  • Proven experience integrating hardware and software into complex, high-availability production environments.

  • Experience working with vendors, processors, and managed service providers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large ATM fleets in a regulated financial environment.

  • Familiarity with ITIL, SDLC, change management, and release management practices.

  • Knowledge of PCI compliance, network security, and operational risk controls.

  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
