$260,000 – $390,000+

A premier AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a Technology Companies Associate Attorney to join its Boston office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing startups, emerging growth companies, unicorns, venture capital funds, and public technology companies throughout every stage of the corporate lifecycle.

Ideal Background

3–5 years of sophisticated corporate transactional experience gained at a national or international law firm

• Experience representing technology companies, emerging growth companies, founders, venture capital funds, and strategic investors

• Experience advising clients on general corporate matters, corporate governance, entity formation, capitalization, and day-to-day legal counseling

• Experience handling venture capital financings, including seed, Series A through later-stage preferred equity financings

• Experience representing clients in mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, recapitalizations, and other corporate transactions

• Experience supporting private and public securities offerings, including IPOs and other capital markets transactions, is preferred

• Experience drafting and negotiating stock purchase agreements, investor rights agreements, stockholder agreements, voting agreements, merger agreements, and other corporate transaction documents

• Ability to independently manage significant portions of sophisticated transactions while collaborating effectively with larger deal teams

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and client counseling skills

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Massachusetts bar admission required or ability to become admitted
