As the Aquatics Leader, you will lead the staff in creating a fun and professional environment, ensuring all students are progressing each class with their swim skills! You will work closely with the Executive Director and the swim instructors to help shape our school's culture and core values. You will help to retain current students and recruit new families.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Aquatics Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Aquatics Program. The Aquatics Leader is responsible for ensuring that all parents and swimmers have a fantastic experience as Schafer Sports Center. You will need to communicate with parents daily regarding student progress. You will be responsible for the safety of the entire pool staff, the patrons, and swimmers within the aquatics department.

  • Be fully available on the days you work with a flexible evening and weekend schedule

Minimum Qualifications:
  • College/Tech/Associate degree OR High school diploma and 1 years of aquatics experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in use of computers

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of customer service and/or management experience.
  • Experience in swimming and fitness teaching/management is preferred. A specialist Aquatics qualification is desirable, but not required as we provide training.
  • Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid Certifications are a bonus, but training will be provided if not.

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
