Job description


SAIC is looking for a Quality Assurance Associate to support the MIDAS Weights and Characterization programs; including analyzing of munitions related engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical data. Applicant will be responsible for conducting research, then entering data directly into the MIDAS program. Must possess excellent computer skills and be able to utilize various databases.
  • The ability to read, interpret, and extract data from drawings is critical.
  • Must be able to perform research on subject material constituents, as well as contact various vendors and compile vendor data.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a technical program.
  • Applicant must have an AS degree or higher.
  • Applicant must have a solid background in drafting and/or CAD modeling and must be able to read and extract information from engineering drawings.
  • Applicant must possess a desire to stay in a position long-term, as position takes a tremendous amount of training to become effective in the completion of characterization packages.
  • Must be able to obtain full secret clearance, interim secret required to start.
