Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0

Following regulatory requirements, the technologist will perform a variety of complex Nuclear Medicine procedures; perform dose calculations and administration; perform standard Nuclear Medicine dynamic and static and therapy imaging procedures, operates imaging equipment, perform quality control procedures and minor routine maintenance tasks on equipment. On call mandatory; weeknights, weekends and holidays.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
  • Requires broad knowledge of diagnostic nuclear medicine field

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

  • Experience in acute care hospital setting
  • Synapse/PACS experience
  • Experience with NMIS/ECAM/ADAC equipment

On- Call only. Call requirement is 1 week and 1 weekend a month.

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Associate's degree of Science preferred

License/Certification:

  • ARRT (N), or CNMT certification; Massachusetts state license required

Physical Demands: Use hands to control objects, tools, or controls, stand or sit for long periods of time, repeat the same movements, on feet for long periods of time, bend or twist body.
