Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Lead IT Technician to manage the day-to-day hardware and end-user support for our 110-employee operation. This role is designed to be "boots on the ground," ensuring our fleet of delivery trucks, showrooms, and office staff always have functional technology. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who enjoys a mix of office-based support and field-based hardware troubleshooting.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Fleet & Field Support:Install, troubleshoot, and maintain tablets and metering hardware in delivery trucks and service vehicles. Make sure tank monitor communications are running smoothly.
  • Hardware Deployment:Setup and configuration of laptops, tablets, and mobile phones for new and existing employees. Ensure gas station equipment is in functioning order. Provide support for those who use credit card machines, showroom registers, and cameras.
  • End-User Support:Act as the first point of contact for IT issues, including password resets, printer troubleshooting, and Office 365 "how-to" questions.
  • Facilities Tech:Assist with the physical installation and maintenance of security cameras, Wi-Fi access points, and basic network cabling at various company locations.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding:Handle the physical collection and distribution of IT assets during employee transitions.
  • Documentation:Maintain an accurate inventory of all company hardware assets (tablets, laptops, phones).
  • Marketing -Website Maintenance, marketing updates/posts, and social media management.
  • Network -Responsible for internet & firewalls, cybersecurity, cabling infrastructure, phones, and Wi-Fi.
  • Software -Implement new software company-wide.
    Maintain updates for all current software, including Microsoft 365, Teams/SharePoint management, Adobe, PandaDocs, and Fleetio.


Qualifications

  • Experience:3-5 years in an IT technical support or field service role.
  • Technical Skills:* Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
    • Basic understanding of networking (cabling, Wi-Fi connectivity).
    • Experience with mobile device hardware (iOS/Android/Rugged Tablets).
  • Physical Requirements:Ability to climb into truck cabs for hardware installs and use a ladder for camera/AP maintenance.
  • Other:Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. API and PowerApps experience a plus.
