Job description

We are looking for a motivated IT Systems Administrator Intern to assist in managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in systems administration, network management, and IT support within a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

This role is on-site based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This role also requires travel to the United States.

Who You Are

  • Studying a technical field like Computer Networking, Computer Systems Technology, or similar programs.
  • Naturally curious about how things work-and not afraid to break them (responsibly) to figure it out.
  • Calm and focused when things go wrong, and driven to solve problems instead of getting stuck on them.
  • Comfortable working on your own or jumping into a team to lend a hand wherever needed.

What We Need

  • Help maintain and support our users, systems, and infrastructure across Tenstorrent.
  • Assist with managing Linux systems including enterprise server hardware, network configuration, and deployment automation.
  • Pitch in on tool configuration, inventory upkeep, and monitoring infrastructure performance.
  • Gain experience in different areas of IT by jumping in on various projects and user support tasks (Mac/Windows), especially during escalations.

What You Will Learn

  • Gain real-world experience in systems administration, network support, and IT operations.
  • Learn how modern infrastructure is managed using automation and configuration tools.
  • Work alongside experienced IT professionals and be exposed to multiple areas of the tech stack.
  • Understand how enterprise systems are supported across global teams and multiple platforms.

Tenstorrent offers a highly competitive compensation package and benefits, and we are an equal opportunity employer.
