Location: Franklin, WI

Facility: Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital 

Department: Med Surg

Schedule: Nights | Part-time

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Support patients with dignity by assisting with daily living activities and personal care, ensuring they feel comfortable and respected throughout their stay.

  • Facilitate seamless patient transitions by coordinating safe arrivals and departures, creating a welcoming and organized experience from admission to discharge.

  • Monitor and communicate vital changes in a patient's physical or emotional state to the nursing team, serving as a critical "early warning" advocate for patient safety.

  • Document every step of the patient care journey with precision to ensure the clinical team has the high-quality data needed for informed decision-making.

  • Maintain a healing environment by managing room cleanliness and equipment readiness, allowing the medical team to focus entirely on life-saving care.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certs may be required by specific job locations.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
