Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who is looking for an entry level technician position in the Heavy Equipment field.  The Helper Technician role  will be responsible for assisting master level technicians as well as yard maintenance. This entry-level positions provides an opportunity to gain experience as you assist our technicians in troubleshoot engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assisting our technicians with diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Caterpillar equipment
  • Maintaining the yard and conducting initial inspection of equipment

    Qualifications & Experience Needed:

    • A valid driver's license.
    • Ability to follow instructions, and willingness to learn 
    • Diesel / Heavy Equipment training is a plus
    • Experience working at a Caterpillar (CAT) dealership or with CAT products is a plus.
    • This role requires the ability to stand up to eight hours per day and includes twisting, bending, squatting, sitting stooping and kneeling.
