Located in Wamego, Kansas, Tallgrass Title is a full-service title insurance and escrow company proudly serving Kansas and Missouri. We specialize in providing reliable, secure, and efficient title solutions for homebuyers, sellers, and real estate professionals. With years of industry expertise, our team is committed to making every real estate transaction seamless and stress-free.

This position is a temporary, seasonal summer internship.

The Title Intern supports daily office operations through administrative tasks and data entry, including processing data in title software, running local errands, assisting management and reception, and completing other assigned duties and projects. This role also requires maintaining confidentiality while supporting the team's day-to-day needs.

Responsibilities

  • Process data in title software.
  • Run errands in Manhattan, Wamego, St. Marys, and surrounding areas.
  • Assist Management as requested.
  • Assist reception team as requested.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Act in a stewardship capacity for the Company, work as a functional member of the team, have ability to self-direct and self-regulate work-day.
  • All other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education or certification in office administration is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional phone manner.
  • Organizational skills to maintain an orderly office and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and the ability to learn specialized software.
  • Customer service-oriented attitude with the ability to interact professionally with clients and visitors.
  • Dependability and flexibility to manage errands and additional tasks as needed.
  • Previous receptionist or administrative experience in a professional setting is preferred.
