Job description

Electrical Systems Integration Engineer

Location: Montreal, Quebec or Toronto, Ontario, Canada; United States (multiple locations)

Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada OR the United States

Schedule: Hybrid (remote and onsite)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems integration or related field
  • Experience with aircraft electrical power generation and distribution systems
  • Experience with aircraft electrical system architecture development and integration
  • Experience preparing and reviewing engineering documentation
  • Experience supporting aircraft production and in-service modifications
  • Experience conducting technical evaluations, trade studies, and technology integration activities
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, including:
    • RTCA/DO-160
    • SAE
    • MIL-STD
  • Knowledge of airworthiness regulations and guidance materials, including:
    • Transport Canada (TCCA)
    • FAA
    • EASA
  • Ability to work effectively with:
    • Airworthiness teams
    • Manufacturing teams
    • Cross-functional engineering teams
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
