Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Writer to support documentation activities for a Long-term Contract position based in West Bend, Wisconsin. In this role, you will refine and maintain technical materials, ensure controlled release of updated content, and help keep published information accurate across multiple document formats and languages. You will work closely with a small team and partner with technical and service stakeholders to deliver clear, reliable documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Revise and maintain technical documents using Adobe FrameMaker and InDesign to keep content current and accurate.
• Prepare updated materials for controlled release through the organization’s document management environment.
• Publish approved documentation and verify that released versions are properly available to intended users.
• Integrate translated text into existing documentation sets while preserving formatting and consistency.
• Coordinate with technical, service, and other cross-functional teams to gather updates and confirm document accuracy.
• Monitor document revisions carefully to maintain version control and support compliance with internal publishing standards.
• Use Adobe Creative Cloud tools and Google Workspace applications to support document production, review, and collaboration.• At least 2 years of experience in technical writing or document control within a structured documentation environment.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe FrameMaker and/or Adobe InDesign for editing and formatting technical content.
• Familiarity with publishing workflows and document management systems used to control releases and revisions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage formatting, consistency, and accuracy across multiple documents.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Google Workspace for day-to-day documentation and collaboration tasks.
