Brief Overview of Position:

Strategic Operational Solutions (STOPSO) is seeking candidates for a Systems Administrator to join our growing team. We are part of a dynamic and innovative team specializing in advanced technology solutions for both government and commercial sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Administrator with an active Secret Security Clearance to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects while ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems.

Job Description: The System Administrator will support efforts of the task order.

Responsibilities:

  • System Administrator II maintains and supports the integrity of the operating system environment and conducts functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability
  • Provides administration, installation, and troubleshooting support for a variety of operating systems
  • Ensures software and firmware maintenance and ongoing optimization and problem‐solving support
  • Configure software, manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment
  • Support in the detection of problems associated with hardware, operating system, and application software
  • Exposure and general knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Workstation operating systems
  • High degree of familiarity with Splunk preferred, or other central logging solutions common in DOD environments
  • Must have requisite training and experience in ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) and DISA STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guide)
  • Monitor and maintain system/server configuration in accordance with DISA STIGs and site-specific change management procedures
  • Support in performing tasks and project level efforts in coordination with Lab and Cybersecurity leadership
  • Provide technical support and enduring assistance during scheduled and assigned lab events
  • Ability to effectively diagnose faulty system/server hardware and troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems

Education, Experience, and Security Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years related experience
  • DoD IAT II Level II Certification
  • Active Secret Security Clearance is required
  • Experience with Windows Server 2019, 2022
  • Experience with Linux Administration RHEL 7, RHEL 8, PROXMOX
  • Experience with VMware EXSI and V-Sphere
  • Experience with 3rd party application management (Java, Adobe, VBS, Edge)
  • Experience with MDT, DNS, and PXE Imaging services
  • Experience with Helpdesk Ticket support via Manage Engine Helpdesk (Tier 1, 2, 3)
  • Past experience with the following:
    • OCSP Axway Server Administrator
    • HBSS/ AESS (EndPoint Security System), ePo, DLP, Policy Auditor, ENS Firewall, Trellix - Administration
    • Patch Management
    • STIG Security hardening management
