Position Overview: We are seeking a Technical Contact Center Associate to serve as a key connection between customers, prospects, and internal business teams. This role provides exceptional customer service and technical support across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, web forms, and social media. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, strong communicator, and self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to quickly develop knowledge of products, processes, and business operations while maintaining a strong customer focus. The Contact Center Associate will work closely with internal teams, including Technical Service, Quality & Regulatory, Marketing, and Sales, to address customer needs, resolve issues, and provide a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer support through phone, email, web forms, and social media.
  • Respond to a variety of customer inquiries, including technical support, product literature requests, purchasing information, and quality and regulatory questions.
  • Process warranty claims for consumer products.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners and global teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Participate in ongoing product, system, and process training to continually expand knowledge and capabilities.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and customer focus in all interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Previous technical contact center or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to quickly learn new systems, products, processes, and technical information.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong English proficiency.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, Word, and Copilot.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems preferred; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the building and construction industry is a plus.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
