Cashier & Systems Support Associate

Location: Fishers, IN
Type: Full-Time Store Opening in 2026!

Serve with a Smile. Support with Confidence.

At Meijer, every great shopping experience starts at the front end. As a Cashier & Systems Support Associate, you’ll be the friendly face guests see at checkout—and the problem solver who helps keep our registers and lanes running smoothly.

This role blends customer service with hands-on technical support. You’ll assist guests at checkout, handle transactions accurately, and help troubleshoot basic point-of-sale (POS) and register issues so our front end stays fast, friendly, and efficient. If you enjoy helping people and figuring things out on the fly, this role is a great fit.

What You’ll Do

  •        Deliver efficient, friendly service in the checkout lane that creates a positive, lasting impression.
  •        Greet guests, complete transactions accurately, and handle money responsibly.
  •        Create “WOW” moments through attentive, helpful customer interactions.
  •        Use good eye contact and positive body language to build guest trust.
  •        Assist with basic troubleshooting of front-end systems (scanners, printers, pin pads, registers).
  •        Partner with Service Coordinators and Leaders to resolve system issues or escalate when needed.
  •        Utilize technology to complete daily tasks and support front-end operations.
  •        Answer customer questions and help resolve concerns quickly and professionally.

What You’ll Bring

  •        Must be 21 years of age or older.
  •        Strong communication and customer service skills.
  •        Comfort learning and using register systems and related technology.
  •        Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to troubleshoot and assist.
  •        Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
  •        Friendly, outgoing attitude with a desire to help others.
  •        Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

We take care of our team because we know you’re the heart of our success.

Benefits include:

  • Weekly pay & team member discounts
  • Paid time off & paid family leave
  • Tuition Assistance
  • 401(k) with company contribution
  • Medical, dental & vision insurance
  • Wellness and childcare assistance programs
  • Career development and growth opportunities
