IT Coordinator
Position Type: Full-Time
Location: MHC Business Office - Union, West Virginia
Reports To: Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Position Summary
The IT Coordinator is responsible for providing technical support to employees throughout the organization and assisting with the maintenance, operation, and security of the organization's information technology systems. This position will support computer hardware, software, operating systems, the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, telecommunications, internet connectivity, and other technology-related services.
The IT Coordinator will work closely with employees, equipment and technology vendors, internet service providers, communications contractors, and the Chief Information Officer to ensure reliable and effective technology services across all organizational facilities.
Travel between organizational locations will be required as needed.
Required Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer knowledge and technical skills.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and system-related problems.
Ability to learn and support new software applications and technology systems.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
Ability to travel between organizational facilities as needed.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
One to two years of related IT or technical support experience preferred.
Experience supporting Electronic Health Records or other healthcare information systems is a plus.
Experience with network troubleshooting, telecommunications, hardware inventory, and software support is desirable.
